It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Classroom Teacher Department, a department that represents a cornerstone of the educational process due to its central role in preparing qualified teachers capable of leading classrooms and building conscious generations equipped with knowledge, values, and modern pedagogical skills. The classroom teacher is the foundation of education and bears primary responsibility for instilling basic knowledge, as well as scientific, national, and human values, in learners during their early educational stages.
The role of the Classroom Teacher Department extends beyond providing academic knowledge; it is committed to preparing well-rounded teachers who possess professional competence, pedagogical skills, and the ability to keep pace with contemporary developments in education. Through this, the department contributes to serving society and supporting national development and progress.
The department is keen to provide a stimulating learning environment that integrates academic preparation with practical training, strengthens applied learning, encourages scientific research, and promotes teamwork. This stems from our firm belief that the quality of education begins with the quality of the teacher. Accordingly, the department continuously works to develop its programmes and courses in line with modern requirements and societal needs.
In conclusion, I extend my sincere appreciation to the College administration, faculty members, and staff for their dedicated efforts in supporting the department’s mission. I also express my pride in our dear students, wishing them success and excellence, and hoping they will rise to the responsibility entrusted to them and carry the message of education with integrity and competence.

Description
The Classroom Teacher Department is one of the principal departments of the Faculty of Education in Mizdah. The department began admitting students in the academic year 2019/2020, and the study system follows the annual academic system.
Vision
Leadership and excellence in preparing academically and pedagogically qualified classroom teachers who are capable of making an effective contribution to the development of the educational process and to community service.
Mission
The department seeks to prepare teachers with high professional standards and strong competence, capable of contributing to the building of a knowledge-based society, while preserving the national, Arab, Islamic, and human identity of the teacher.
Goals
To prepare qualified teachers capable of working efficiently in the basic education stage.
To develop students’ teaching and pedagogical skills.
To equip students with the ability to plan, implement, and evaluate lessons effectively.
To enhance teachers’ communication skills and classroom management abilities.
To integrate theoretical knowledge with practical application within schools.
To provide students with comprehensive understanding of stages of growth, their challenges, and their physical, mental, psychological, cognitive, and educational characteristics, as well as appropriate methods for addressing them.
To foster positive attitudes toward the teaching profession.
To promote professional and ethical values and educational discipline.
To prepare graduates capable of pursuing postgraduate studies in the field of education.
